Here it is, the first outfit post from an exciting project I worked on while I was in Paris with the brand Brigitte Bardot. This look is one of my favorites from Brigitte Bardot due to its simplicity, sporty appeal and flirty black lace top. Before I say any more about the look, I would like to go into some background detail about the brand and the iconic superstar Brigitte Bardot herself. Born in Paris, France, Bardot is a former and talented actress who became popular internationally once her acting career took off, and has since also been a singer, model, and even animal rights activist. In the 1950s and 60s she was even one of the best known sex symbols, and the recent creation of a brand named after her brings back sexy vintage clothing into modern day attire. Brigitte Bardot’s style was very feminine, girly and chic, but most importantly representative of French fashion. With a new and fresh take on vintage attire (such as lace, off-the-shoulder tops, gingham print checked dresses and signature bikinis) the brand Brigitte Bardot modernized yet kept the clothing characteristic of the French superstar. Every item goes through Brigitte Bardot herself before its approval to be a part of every season’s collection. The first look is a mix of flirty and sporty due to the sheer black lace top with BURING MIDNIGHT written in bold on it, and large white shorts with flower lace detail. To add to the look, sneakers were the best pick for a relaxed look. I can tell you, I’m completely obsessed with Brigitte Bardot fashion! Stay tuned for more looks to come from Brigitte Bardot! Love,

This summer, for me, is all about fashion, the sun, relaxing and especially rocking vintage-inspired clothing; and what better way to do so then with this fabulous Brigitte Bardot look? This outfit is a true festival look, inspired by vintage-wear in the 60s. In the moment we shot these photos, a song was playing in my head called ‘I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)’ by Sandi Thom. Do you know it? The lyrics are so inspirational, talking about a time of happiness, pure bliss and ignorance – when all that truly mattered was music, life and flowers in our hair. This is the moment I was trying to capture in these photos and especially with this outfit. I simply love the embroidered flower details on the top and shorts. I decided to pair this look with Zara heels and of course, flowers in my hair! Love, Bibi
En prenant ses photos, une chanson jouait dans ma tête ‘I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)’ par Sandi Thom. Bisous, Bibi

All white everything is the theme of today’s post, as you can tell from the outfit itself! This is another total
Brigitte Bardot look, which you may be able to distinguish by now. I simply love the details on both the top and shorts, creating a very feminine yet subtle vintage look all the while. What do you think?
Love, Bibi

- LE SHORT ORNELLA - http://www.brigitte-bardot.fr/fr/short/611-ornella.html

This look is inspired by Brigitte Bardot’s famous pink gingham checked dress, which she made extremely popular. It’s a classic, vintage print still very much used today. This checked dress was actually one she wore to her wedding to the actor Jacques Charrier, which entirely influenced fashion. The dress she wore was by the french designer Jacque Estral. As you might be guessing, this is another look by Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection! I just love the vintage flair in all items of the collection; it’s the perfect mix of modern and feminine. I absolutely wanted to wear a piece of clothing that truly represented the icon Brigitte Bardot, as this brand dedicates their designs to her style after all. This print hit the industry hard and never fell out of style! So, what do you think of this look?
Love, Bibi

- LA ROBE VICHY SARAH - http://www.brigitte-bardot.fr/en/dress/558-sarah.html

Vintage elegance may be vintage, but it still remains so inspirational and worn just as much today. Brigitte Bardot is one of my preferred fashion icons, and this outfit definitely reminds me of her elegance and feminine, chic, and flirty style. I simply love everything about this look, from the transparency on the sheer black top, to the mid-length white skirt, crocodile-inspired clutch, simple black heels, pearls, and the matching summery hat! The accessories in this outfit definitely do play their role in bringing a look of ‘vintage elegance’.
Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection has really created stunning vintage-inspired pieces that will just fit into your wardrobe so perfectly!
Love,

- LA ROBE BRODÉE ROMANCE - http://www.brigitte-bardot.fr/en/dress/581-romance.html

One thing that I love about summer is that my wardrobe gets filled with tank tops, shorts and sandals! Living in Europe where this is pretty rare during most of the year, I can never wait to find a sweet escape where the sun is hot, the water is cool, and the nights are romantic. For me, nothing feels better! This look shows exactly that: an easy summery outfit for the perfect night walking around the town, near the beach. I’m wearing some of the favorite brands:
Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection and
Zara. When I find brands I like I often stay very loyal to them! I bought these Zara shorts a few years back but they are just so versatile, chic and comfortable that I can never give them up! The top is from Brigitte Bardot Clothing Collection’s spring/summer collection. It’s light, very adorable and goes with almost anything! Sometimes wearing a casual outfit just feels so right. Accessories wise, I’m wearing my new
Ann Tuil black gladiator sandals, minimal jewelry, a black and white Aztec clutch and a gifted French Connection iPhone case! The accessories really do add to this look. What do you think?
LOVE,
BIBI
